With the house literally busting at the seams, Kathy hosted 30 people for
Thanksgiving!
This year we were blessed to have the families of both Kathy's brothers and the families of 2 of my three sisters (Laurie was at her in-laws). Pop and the Lee's next door made it a memorable day to celebrate our blessings.
The table stretched from the dining romm into most of the lounge to accomodate the multitude. Kathy was up early for days before, fixing everything just right. 2 Turkeys, even more vegetables than Rayoma would ever offer, stuffing, and desserts all left us full.

As always, Jay did the carving, everyone pitched in to bring their specialty dishes and there was no fire in the kitchen - all making this day perfect.
Picture up top is little Jaclyn presenting her Auntie Kathy with a fine Thanksgiving memento, while picture lower left sees Rick fending off an assault from Randy to raid his plate.
After the meal a rousing Polyanna game was help pairing Jean & Rick against Pop & Bryan. History does not recored who won the event, but there were words, pieces and money all flying across the board.
In these tumultuous times, we stop and give thanks for our many blessings!
