once again was a happy time for the family. As we typically do, on Christmas Eve we spent it at Kathy's brother Jay and wife Val's home in Barrington.
They put on a beautiful buffet throughout the evening. Val's parents and her brother & family were in attendance, while Kathy's other brother Gary & family were there as well. Picture to the left was taken of my family at Jays's home.
On Christmas Day, we opened the family gifts in the morning and in the afternoon went over to sister Nancy and Randy's home in Palatine. My other sisters & families were there too and we had a great time. Nancy put on a great pasta spread and it was nice to spend time with the family.
In terms of gift themes this Christmas, both Brad & Brett got the ever popular IPODS. Bryan got anything and everything one would need when going away to college - including a brochure from Brett on how to land the college babes. It is hilarious and can be viewed by Clicking here.
Santa brought Kathy a sapphire necklace, a new coat, a cool pair of sunglasses, wine glasses. I got a mountain of books and DVD's to keep me occupied. Everyone was wishing Bryan "Good Luck" as he is headed off to Macomb, Illinois as a Western Illinois University Freshman in just a couple weeks. Picture to the right is of Kathy with her brothers, while picture below is of cousins and friends taken on Christmas Eve.
