Once again it was a busy and festive

Christmas Holiday

as we gathered with our families to celebrate this special time of year.

On Christmas Eve, we went over to the Jay & Val Batz residence (Kathy's oldest brother) who live in Barrington, IL. We had our traditional multi-course buffet and visited with Kathy's other brother Gary & family, along with Val's parents and her brothers famlies, too. As usual it was a great time. We have been doing this Christmas Eve dinner at Jay's for more than 15 years now and has become quite a tradition.

On Christmas morning, our immediate family opened their presents left by Santa. Bryan's big gifts were a printer and computer speakers. Ben got a digital camera. Brettie got a new Motorola Razr cell phone and Brad scored a new TV for his room. Kathy & Rick got many a nice present. We then went over to our neighbors home of Peggy & Ross Diedrich where they treat many of their neighborhood friends to a great breakfast. Picture upper right is of our family posing in their family room in our best Red Rabbit Racing pajamas.

Later on Christmas Day it was off to sister Jean & Steve Gallo's home in Barrington for a celebration on the Johnson side. It is still strange to not have my Dad there, but we had a great time none-the-less. Sister Laurie and Nancy were there with their families and we all had a tremendous time. It is unbelievable how the kids are growing up. We use to have such little ones but as you can see - no more. My Mom and Carl were safely back in Florida - where Carl is still rehabilitating from a broken hip. Would have been nice to see them, but we all talked with her on the phone.

Merry Christmas To All!
