Our longtime friends Ray & Kathie Godfrey, thought our Grandson Thor needed his own
Rocking Horse!
They were kind enough to bestow the Rocking Horse that their own children used as they grew up. They also gave little Thor some custom made books that their children used when they were Wee Ones as well.

I have known Ray & Kathie since I was a child as we go to the same church in Rolling Meadows. 
They have been the greatest of friends, to both my Kathy & I and I thank God for putting them in our lives.
I took the Rocking Horse and books up to Thor's house in Antioch. As you can see from the video at the bottom of the page, he was a little cautious when he first mounted the steed. But after we moved "Rockin' Charley" into the house Thor soon mastered riding him.
In fact Thor announced to all that he is going to be a Jockey - as he loves going to the RaceTrack with me anytime he can.
Picture below was taken a couple years ago at Ray & Kathie's annual Christmas Bash that they throw every year. Kathie & Ray are seated next to their absolute Babe daughter Laura, with church friends Gary & Jill Powell enjoying the festivities too - standing next to Kathy.
