This most Joyous Grandson of ours has unbelievably turned 

2 Years Old !

That's right, Calvin Takashi was 2 years old this past April 7th and his parents, our son Ben and his beautiful wife Jordan, threw an epic Birthday Party around Calvin's favourite theme - DINOSAURS! 

Staged at their home in Carol Stream, we were summoned to be there promptly at 11am as this party was action packed with great friends, great food and great memories!

I told Jordan to take it easy as they have just announced that she is expecting their 2nd at the beginning of September!

In attendance was all of Jordan's family from her Mom & Dad on down.  On our side, all the boys and their families were there making it a full house.   Here's the whole group below - minus the Photog.

Little Cal got a treasure trove of gifts - took 30 minutes to open them all.  Cal loves all things with Dinosaurs - so he particularly liked his Dino Trike Helmet he's modeling upper right with Dad.   

A wide range of gifts were showered - from a Bouncy Castle, to a miniature Dyson Vacuum Cleaner to a Brookfield Zoo Subscription, to numerous Books and even a Japanese Necktie with matching Horse Brooch- a present directly from the people of Japan!

Jordan laid on a viscous spread anchored by Jersey Mike's subs, assorted salads and of course the Dinosaur Birthday cake.   Everything was delicious.

The party was winding down in conjunction with Cal's nap time - so Kathy & I nipped out and rushed over to Hawthorne to see our Euclid Avenue lead the whole race til he got caught late in the stretch.  A good second place and something to improve on.

We thank God for our Calvin Takashi!
