On a gorgeous Autumn day, our niece Jaclyn and her long time beau Tom were

Married In a Day to remember!

Jaclyn is the daughter of my youngest sister Nancy and her husband Randy.  Tom is a local chap that went to High School at the same time as Jaclyn, but it wasn't till after University that this couple found each other and love blossomed.

The wedding weekend was a whirlwind of activity starting with the Rehearsal Dinner on Friday Oct-18.  The dinner was held at Emmett's in Palatine.

Kathy & I were honored to attend.  At our table was my Mom who'd flown in from Florida, Godson Scott & Nina in from Vegas, and Tom's Grandma and Uncles. Jaclyn stunned all adorned in a dress with a CAPE!

Wedding Day festivities commenced at 2 pm on the 19th at Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine. The service was lovely, reverent, humourous and concise.  The church was packed and as you can see the Wedding Couple look very Happy!

The reception was stellar.  It was held at Victoria's In the Park in Mt Prospect.  Cocktail Hour before upstairs and then it was down the Grand Staircase for the Dinner.  With 280 people in attendance - it was fabulous.  A live band provided the music and the dance floor was packed the whole night.

They pulled out all the stops at this party.  A separate Bourbon Bar, Sweet Tables, and midday through the evening Jaclyn and Nancy sashayed down the Staircase in new outfits that drove the crowd wild.  My Kathy looked great in a new Black Frock and we took more than a few pictures of our own family with the Boys and their wives.

The evening went by all too fast and I wish we had more time to talk with the many relatives that came to the party.  Was great to see them!

THe Happy Couple is off to Cabo San Lucas for a 8 day Honeymoon - before they return and go to another friend's wedding.

Thanks to The Perryman's and The Glassgow's for such a Great party

God bless Jaclyn & Tom!
