Off to the world famous Kansas Cosmoshere where
Ben And John Went To Space Camp!
Ben and first cousin John Gallo (son of Rick's sister Jean and husband Steve) traveled to beautiful Hutchinson Kansas where the 2 boys participated in a week long Space Camp at the world renowned Kansas Cosmosphere.
At the camp, Ben's 'Kittyhawk' team completed their Space Shuttle Flight mission with Ben conducting in-flight experiments as the 'Payload Specialist'. John was the 'Pilot' of his team's mission and landed the Shuttle successfully.
While the boys earned their wings, the
2 families, including Pop, relaxed in the balmy 108 degree weather at
Prairie Dunes Country Club where the pool and the golf were spectacular.

We also took in the Pretty Prairie Rodeo, which was great action for us city slickers - but will be remembered for 2 remarkable things:

Pop got a hot dog shard lodged in his throat and we went to the Hutchinson Hospital to get it removed.

We met the famed Rodeo Dog Whiplash who performed with his nuts sutured to the back of a Border Collie to ensure he never fell off the damn dog. Check out the Rode video.
Bryan and Kathy took a golf lesson that paid immediate benefits. (Ask Steven how many golf balls he lost... Buy Titleist Stock before he re-stocks! You'll make a killing.)
