On August 17 we attended the wedding of

Joe & Stacey Tomczak

at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine.

Joe, son of Sue & Joe Tomczak (Sue is Rick's cousin), married his long time sweetheart on a beautiful day in an afternoon church service followed by a tremendous reception in a draped tent at the Wyndham hotel.

The family was in force arriving from the corners of the country to take in this joyous day. Of particular excitement to me was seeing Godson Rick Wallis, a fine strapping lad having flown in with his family from Spokane, Wa.

Rev Claussen officiated at Immanuel and then following the service I got many fine pictures in their courtyard. One of my favourites is of Jean & Dad shown below.

There was a short break between the wedding & the reception allowing us to go home & freshen up. Then it was off to Itasca for a beautiful reception in a lovely draped tent.
