Capping a tumultuous week that had already seen him Confirmed and celebrating his 14th birthday, it was time for Brad to

Graduate Middle School!

Brad finished up his third and last year at Jack London Middle school and graduated with his other 8th grade classmates in a ceremony held on June 6th (his birthday) at Wheeling High school. He enters Buffalo Grove High School this Fall as a Freshman!

Kathy, next door neighbor Mrs. Lee, and I proudly watched the graduate cross the stage and pick up his diploma from Principal (can't remember his name.) 

Of course Kathy and Mrs. Lee were wailing and weeping loudly with both pride and lament as they wondered how this little shaver could have got to age 14 so quickly. Picture below is of a teary Kathy with her youngest taken after the ceremony by equally teary Mrs. Lee.
