On a beautiful May 18th, Kathy & I were proud to travel down to Willard Airfield in Savoy, Illinois to witness the Graduation of our Godson

Scott Gallo From Aviation School!

Scott, youngest son of sister Jean and husband Steve Gallo, was in the 2nd of 3 days of Commencement Festivities, starting with Saturdays graduation from University of Illinois, Champaign, Aviation School Graduation on the Sunday, and Commisioning as a 2nd Lt in the United States Air Force on Monday.

At the Aviation School ceremony we were joined by sister Nancy Perryman & her family, along with Sister Jean, husband Steve, and Scott's brother John, on leave from Air Force flying school to congratulate his brother. Also, Scott's lovely girlfriend, Nina was on hand to proudly watch our Scotters graduate. Picture upper left is all of us flying around Scott in ragged formation saluting him after the ceremony.

Before the ceremony Scott took members of the Perryman family out for a spin in one of the U of I Piper Aeroplanes. Then a lovely luncheon was held, before we filed out to the tarmac to take in the graduation under tent.

A special treat that day included the visit by a vintage B-17 WWII Bomber that was on display at the Airfield, providing a great backdrop to the Class photo shown all the way on the bottom.

Following the festivities, Kathy & I started for home, but before that we stopped off at Riverwoods Farm to visit the Great Champion General Charley in nearby El Paso.

The General looked fabulous and it was a great end to a great day.

Scott, we couldn't be more proud of you. We love you dearly and share the excitement with you as you begin your career in

the United States Air Force.

God Bless You!
