We mark the most sacred day in our Faith, by Worshipping our Lord God and spending time with our family.
What more Joy could life offer?
Easter morning it was off to Trinity for the 7:30AM service, led by our Pastor Dan Schwick. Bryan, Sabrina, Brett, Mary, Brad, Kathy, along with Thor on debut were all in attendance. Son Ben went to the later service. In his sermon, Pastor Schwick even included little Thor as he talked about his upcoming Baptism next Sunday.
Following church we went down to the Church Fellowship Hall for traditional Easter Morn Breakfast, mindful that we had a Brunch coming in just a few hours.
At 11:45 we had a reservation for 27 at Ditka's just alongside the backstretch turn at Arlington Park. Lovely Bridget Moran greeted us - for she is the Hostess at Ditka's, so we all hugged her tightly.
Sisters Laurie, Jean, Nancy along with Kathy's brothers Jay & Gary with all in town Chilluns, settled in for a tasty and expensive Brunch. I had to dispatch young Bradley to the ATM for fresh funds to avoid compulsory busboy duty. Unsurprisingly, nephew playboy Jayson Batz declined to file a downtown Babe Report. Note to Jayson... Uncle Rick still awaiting one.
The Bloody Mike's (not Bloody Mary's as a Bloody Mike comes with a Beer Chaser) were Katarina's favourite, with alot of the others kicking back the Mamoooosa's. As for me, keep those frosty Pepsi's coming! The food was superb and I bet we will be there next year too!

After Brunch we all scattered.... Brett & Mary had yet another Brunch with her family, Brad & Tina were off to her house, and Ben was off to pick up new beau Jordan as they were going to take in the Cubs Opener tonight.
So off to our house was Kathy, Sabrina, Bryan & I all under the command of Thor as we settled in for a nice afternoon on this Holy and Beautiful Day.
