Where has the time gone as we marked the

60th Birthday Of Sister Laurie!

That's right, Chief has officially become a Dowager.

60! Yikes... Holy Moly.... Whew....

Well we celebrated her Big Day in style. Joining Laurie was sister Jean and spouse Steve (only able to join the dinner as Jeannie had a bum wheel recovering from knee surgery), along with sister Nancy and hubby Randy along with Princess Kathy and myself. First we took in the Rolling Stones Exhibition on Navy Pier in Chicago - that was absolutely fabulous.

Having shown in London and New York before, this traveling exhibition traces the Rolling Stones through their Birth to the latest concert. It was fabulous looking at all the artifacts and brought many a great memory back to us as the 1st time we saw the Stones as a family was way back in the summer of 1978 at Soldier Field. Dust! Dust!

Following the 90 minutes at the Exhibition we had dinner at the Cite Restaurant located on the 70th floor of neighboring Lake Pointe Tower On Lake Michigan.

The views were beautiful on all sides as we enjoyed an excellent meal highlighted by the Kobe Steak Special that all of us - except Steven- ordered. Steven rued his decision when he tasted his lumpy, spongy Fish and longed for our Kobe Steak. I would have happily let him go hungry but Princess Kathy fed him - of course.

Picture above left is the girls under the Tongue at the Stones Exhibition while snap above right is the crew following Dinner overlooking Chicago. Picture on the bottom is a hungry Steve imploring anyone to let him have a little Steak....

Happy Birthday My Sister!

You are Loved by All of us!
