Aunty Joyce's 90th Birthday Bash!

Whoa - what a milestone.   On this past October 28th, ALL the family (well almost all) descended upon the Tomczak home to throw Aunty Joyce a right, ready, proper, Birthday Do.  

'Twas a surprise I'm told and as Aunty's heart survived this shock - I bet she's got another 90 years in front of her!

All her children were there and most of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as well.   Picture right shows 2 groups of partgoers on the stairs.  Sadly Kathy & I were NOT there as we were in Italy on a Cruise we had booked months before.  We were both very sad to miss this Shindig. 

As I wasn't there I am unable to provide any commentary of the party directly.   But, oh how the people came - the Reuhrdanz contingent were well represented, the El Paso & Watseka crowd were in full attendance, 

Mother Thrun jetted north from Florida. Sisters Chief, Jean and Nancy were cheering on the events.  The Bristows were there - and the house was awash with Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren! 

The Inaugural and Repeating winner of the  "Aunt Joyce Award" was there - my nemesis Steve Gallo.  The Aunt Joyce Award was instituted in 2021 to honor the family member who most embodies all of Aunt Joyce's qualities, Faith, Kindness, Love and other sought after qualities.   How Steve won it once and then repeated it - is beyond me.
