Scarcely believing how quickly the time is passing by, our entire family gathered to celebrate...
my 68th Birthday!
This October 6th was a beautiful fall day and Kathy and the boys had planned a dinner for the whole family at Lou Malnati's in Buffalo Grove.
The Princess along with Bryan, Sabrina and their 2 rascals Thor & Ashton, Ben & Jordan with that happy cherub Cal were there. Uncle Brett was center stage playing with his nephews, while Brad and Tina flanked me at the dinner table.

The Pizza was great as usual - but what stole the show for me was the Salad. Absolutely luscious and a new standard for me to get whenever we go to Lou's.
Not wanting to miss a thing, I had my hearing aids on and it was LOUD. But towards the end of the evening I jumped about a foot in the air when I thought a car was coming through the wall beside me. A huge noise that startled the heck out of me. Well it wasn't a car, but it was the waitress who had accidentally slammed one of the cast iron Pizza Pans against the wall behind me.
Well, when I jumped, Tina, Sabrina & the Princess laughed so loud that 2 of them started crying! Might have been the funniest time of the evening. Here are the 4 events that hobbled me with my back - all happening within days of each other....

Initially Hurt Back loading all the 18,000 Arlington Park Beer Cups Into the Lodge Craswlspace

Further straining it on the Bataan Death March from the Lodge to the Antioch Metra Station

Fell flat on Ben's Neighbors lawn trying to lift a reluctant Reese into the car

The Lou Malnati's explosion reported above.
