Epically planned to the last, most minute detail, the Sisters Three hosted...

Jaclyn's Bridal Shower!

August 24, 2024, dawned a beautiful sun drenched day - perfect for the Bridal shower of our gorgeous niece Jaclyn, betrothed to be married to young stallion Tommy G this coming October.  The venue was the ballroom at iconic Kemper Lakes  Golf Club in Kildeer, IL.

Sisters Jean & Kathy, under the tart, unforgiving direction of eldest sister Laurie, hosted this bash of 45 ladies.  Mom flew in from Sarasota and chaired all family Matriarch duties.  Picture left is a lovely, beaming Sister Nancy alongside the lovely Bride To Be.

The party started promptly at noon, but only reached full stride when the Bride To Be sashayed in - resplendent in a White Floral Fancy Frock - just STUNNING!

Early on, the ladies were directed to the outdoor Mimosa Garden that was just lovely with all the flowers in the Garden.  After the Mimosa's were dispatched, the Ladies staggered back into the Ballroom where Laurie welcomed all the partygoers while offering a lovely Toast for our Jaclyn.  Laurie outlined the day starting with several Games, a lovely Luncheon, the Shower Gift Barrage and everything in between.

Tommy walked in mid-party, sporting a large bouquet of Roses for his Beloved.  Later he sat up front quietly with Jaclyn as she opened all the Presents - clearly making sure that the focus was solely on Jaclyn - as this was her day.  Quite classy for a young lad.

The Sisters planned 4 Games played at different times throughout the party, each Game more inane than its predecessor.

As Photographer, I was instructed by Taskmaster Laurie to stay at my little table of one outside the sightline of most partygoers - and allowed to be visible during my photography duties only. I chafed, but complied.

The soiree went on until 3:30 pm and I can not remember a better Bridal shower - though I haven't been to any others.

Many thanks to Laurie, Jean And Kathy for all the work they did to make this perfect Party for Jaclyn!

God bless Jaclyn And Tommy!

And now "on to the wedding!"
