Kathy put on quite the Culinary Show for a full house this
The joint was buzzing this Thanksgiving with a hungry crowd of 12.
Sister Laurie with her Jeff & Ally, Ben & Jordan with Calvin and little Addie, Brettie Boy, along with Brad & Tina joined Kathy & I on Stratford Road.
This holiday, little Addie in her fall Thanksgiving dress commanded most of the attention.
Football was on the TV all day as we smelled the delicious meal that was upcoming. I don't know if I ever had a better Thanksgiving Meal. Kathy outdid herself. Extra thanks to Laurie and Brett for all the help they provided.
3 Turkey Breasts, Stuffing, Green Beans, Mashed and Sweet Potatoes, Corn Casserole, Jello, and fresh rolls - all of which smothered in Gravy! Pies & Cupcakes for dessert. Yummy.
We missed Bryan and hs family, but they were down on the Southside with Sabrina's family - a long standing tradition in their family. We missed them but caught up with them later on the weekend.
Little Addie was walking everywhere, clutching her dolly, never straying far from her Mom. Calvin was the rascal he always is - constantly in Motion.
Ben & Jordan and the kids left after Dessert as they were driving up to Jordan's folk's Lakehouse for the rest of the weekend. But that was not before Cal & Grandpa ate the frosting tops off of a number of mini cupcakes, Pictured Right.
After they departed, we discovered Calvin's shoes that he had taken off downstairs. But we got them up to Calvin the next morning so he didn't have to walk thru the new snow barefoot.
