Princess Kathy now reporting that on a beautiful late June Morning, we got the Family together for a scenic boat ride on the Chain....

Have you ever seen a bear drive a boat?

Such a beautiful day for a boat ride! The only one missing was "Our Captain" Rick - AKA "The Chump Paying".  He was in Florida tending to our Condo kitchen renovation.

So this Saturday morning, the Johnson clan showed up in Antioch at our boat club for a picture perfect morning of boating. Bryan took over captain duties, ably assisted by the grandkids, and off we went.

The sun was shining, a breeze was blowing, the water remained a bit chilly, but everyone showed up excited for our adventure. It's rare to get the whole group together, but we were only down one man. 

Uncle Brad decided to get some rays so he removed his shirt...which led to monkey see, monkey do with the nephews. 

We docked at the Sand Bar on Lake Marie for a delicious lunch and time for the little ones to play in the sand.  Cal determined that the water was too cold for swimming.

After the meal, we boarded the boat for our return trip to the boat club. We all look forward to more family time on the high seas this summer!
