A Day of Rejoicing!  On December 10, 2022 at Atonement Lutheran Church in Barrington IL, the extended family gathered to witness

The Baptism of Brynn Elise Gallo!

What a great day it was!   Brynn is the darling daughter of our Nephew John and his beautiful bride Brittney.  John flies for the United States Air Force and they are currently stationed on the West Coast.

John's younger brother Scott, also of the Air Force, and his lovely bride Nina, were proud to be named Godparents to little Brynn. Kathy & I are proud to be Scott's Godparents.

Brynn was baptized by Pastor Don Wink of Atonement.  It was a lovely service.  John & Brittney are such great parents and we know that Scott & Nina will be excellent Godparents.

What made the celebration even more special was that the extended family had flown in for a combination Christmas Festa on the Saturday of the weekend and The Baptism on the Sunday!  That meant John's parents, Jean and Steve were up from Florida,  along with Great Grandmother Mary Ann Thrun were there - all rejoicing with Tears of Joy!

It was great to see Mark & Alvin as it had been so long since we had seen them.   Jodi & Alan had driven all the way from their home in El Paso, IL located just outside The Red Rabbit Racing Hall of Champions Horse Park.  Very Nice!   Sisters Laurie & Nancy with their families were there, and Cousins Sue, Barb and their families, along with Aunty Joyce - all celebrated Brynn becoming a Child of God!!

Following the Church Service Jean laid on a spread of cake, cookies, coffee and other tidbits.  Very Nice.  Atonement had been Jean, Steven's and their boys church when they lived in Illinois.  They were able to catch up with many old friends from the Church that made the day even better.

It was over far too quickly, but what great memories.  Make sure to see all the Pictures and download any you want.  Check out the Video of the Baptism - (Holy Spirit hits Brynn at 5.40 into the video)

It was a whirlwind weekend that went by far too fast - but...

Blessed Is our Brynn as she becomes a child of God!

Merry Christmas!
